Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week, they will post a new Top Ten list that one of their bloggers at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Anyone can join!
I had to think about this week’s TTT topic a bit, despite the fact that it should have been a relatively easy topic to discuss. I suppose it took me some time to think of 10 good books because there are so many, that it was hard to narrow down.
Burning Blue by Paul Griffin
Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick
45 Pounds (More or Less) by K.A. Barson
Golden by Jessi Kirby
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
Hate List by Jennifer Brown
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick
What are some other character driven books I’ve missed out on? Comment!
The only one of these I’ve read is Jane Eyre, and though I’ve never really liked Jane, I do have to admit she’s quite the character.

I love Jane Eyre, much more than Pride and Prejudice. I do agree that the book is very character driven. Which is why I have Jane Eyre in my list too. 🙂

I LOVE Jane Eyre…obsessed, actually. I have around 10 copies of it on my bookshelf.

Oh, so many great picks! I almost included Leonard Peacock on my list and Aristotle and Dante DID make the final cut on mine. I loved My Life Next Door too. Great list! ~Megan
