Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week, they will post a new Top Ten list that one of their bloggers at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Anyone can join!
Another relatively easy topic for me this week: books that were hard for me to read…for various reasons. For me, there have been several books that were difficult for me to read, whether it was because they were ruined for me, or difficult content, or they just sucked (in my opinion). So these 10 books were hard for me to read because of SOME reason…
Books School Ruined for Me
Books Where I Found the Content Hard-ish
Books That Made Me Cringe
Books I Loved, But Didn’t Want to End
Did any of my books make your list as well? Were there some books on my list that weren’t hard for you to read (if you read them)? All of these books give me some kind of heartburn!
What content was hard about Pride and Prejudice? Or do you mean the language? For some reason, I’ve never gotten through any of Jane Austen’s books… though I always enjoy the movie adaptations, so it’s not like I dislike the stories!

It wasn’t the content (I should have rephrased that), but rather that I felt the book just dragged on forever…it lost my interest easily, despite the fact that I really liked the story.

I have New Moon in my list too! I like Twilight but couldn’t stand the sequel.
I too have never finished any of Jane Austen’s books. I find the language slightly hard. I do, however, enjoy watching the adaptations. Have you seen ‘The Lizzie Bennet diaries’ & ‘Emma Approved’ on YouTube? I love them, especially ‘Emma Approved’.
